Volunteer Text Messaging Terms of Service

Program: Rotary Clubs of Gainesville Foundation Volunteer Updates.
Launch status: Text delivery is not activated yet. The signup form records your preference and consent, and provides confirmation on your device. These terms describe the SMS program planned for launch. We will enable opt-out/help handling and an enrollment confirmation before sending program texts.
What you are signing up for
By checking the optional text-consent box and submitting the volunteer form, you agree to receive recurring volunteer scheduling information, assignment confirmations, shift reminders, and event-related updates from the Rotary Clubs of Gainesville Foundation at the mobile number you provide. Messages may be sent using automated technology. This program does not include fundraising solicitations or promotional advertising.
Your choice
SMS consent is not a condition of volunteering, buying tickets, sponsoring, or donating. You may choose email instead. Entering a phone number without checking the consent box does not enroll you. Provide a number you own or are authorized to use, and tell us if it changes. Opting out of texts does not cancel a volunteer reservation; contact the coordinator separately to change an assignment.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies with your assignments and event activity. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. Check with your mobile provider about charges. The Foundation does not charge a separate SMS subscription fee.
Stop messages or get help
Once the SMS program is active, reply STOP to a program text to opt out, or HELP for help. After opting out, you may receive a final confirmation of your request; further program texts will stop unless you enroll again. At any time, including before launch, email treasurer@rotarygainesville.org for assistance or to withdraw consent.
Delivery and privacy
Message delivery is not guaranteed. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. This is not an emergency notification service.
